About …
A few things about me - my why - and my website.
Words, images, and design elements are essential for a web designer. This website is intended to be an example of my work and to showcase options for you as you decide what’s important for your site regarding design features, the way your site will communicate who you are and what you offer to others, and the general feel and energy of your site.
Since 2003, I’ve been helping people create online businesses. In 2006, I launched my first website and learned how to work with WordPress, developing successful marketing strategies that followed Google’s guidelines. I’m a self-taught designer who blends analytical with creative thinking. I enjoy creating websites that are both functional and visually appealing. And I enjoy helping others achieve success.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Biology. My passion for marine biology and the ocean led me on a 20-year adventure in the Carribean, where I became a licensed US Coast Guard captain and professional sailor in the US Virgin Islands. I worked in various roles: taking tourists sailing on day sails or week-long charters, running privately owned yachts for individuals who needed someone to care for their beautiful boats, and teaching people unfamiliar with marine environments how to sail, snorkel, and appreciate the beauty of a coral reef. I loved the sailor’s life!
My husband and I met while living in the US Virgin Islands, and sailing was an adventure we shared. When we started our family, we moved to Northern Vermont, where we raised our kids and spent our professional years. Now semi-retired, we both feel grateful to live in and travel to beautiful places.
I am now in a new phase of self-discovery. As I delve into the spiritual realm, I recognize the importance of this aspect in my life and am excited about helping others explore it as well. I’m working on certifications as a Druid, Shaman, Reiki Master, and Somatic Healer.
As a web designer, I help people create something that expresses their purpose and dreams.
I genuinely love the creative process of bringing people’s websites and aspirations to life!

Why Chaco?
I chose the name “Chaco Webworks” to honor the magick of the Anasazi, the significance of their spiritual connection, and the incredible accomplishments of their advanced lifestyle.
It’s my way of connecting and blending ancient wisdom with advanced techniques. Similarly, I blend those two worlds by building modern websites for healers and practitioners of ancient arts in this business.
Chaco Culture National Historical Park, New Mexico, USA.
Chaco Canyon made an impression on me at an early age!
I visited the US Southwest Desert for the first time when I was 10. My father, a university professor of biology, had a lifelong passion for nature and history, as well as a curiosity about the land's indigenous peoples. We moved and traveled frequently, and he told us stories about the people, the land, its history, and the flora and fauna of the places we visited.
While living in the Southwest, we traveled to many historical sites and active pueblos, and the most memorable one for me was Chaco Canyon. Chaco was the religious center for the Anasazi people, who inhabited the area beginning in the mid-800s. They were an advanced civilization, sophisticated far beyond those of their time. Here’s a quote paraphrased from the US National Park Service to help explain:
“Pueblo descendants say that Chaco was a special gathering place where many peoples and clans converged to share their ceremonies, traditions, and knowledge. It was the center of a thriving culture a thousand years ago. The monumental scale of its architecture, the complexity of its community life, the high level of its social organization, and its far-reaching commerce created a cultural vision unlike any other seen before or since.”
Even as a young child, I found the energy of Chaco Canyon palpable. It was my first exposure to and connection with a spiritual place and a culture deeply tied to ancient wisdom and universal energy.
